Wow! I love your music-I grew up in Eastern NC and we loved to go to the Beach music clubs and go shaggin! The absolute JOY your music brings when it would come on the radio and the sweep in of just the greatest and most fun times EVER was always crowned with your music! Steve Hardy an John Moore are some of the greatest Beach Music deejays who would spin your wonderful tunes---BEACH MUSIC FOREVER!!
Two years ago today I went to Swansboro NC to see The Tams, my mom had passed away early that morning after a long illness. My fiancee took me in Hope's of making me feel better and it worked! My sweet momma loved all music! Thank you so much for the uplifting music and energetic show. We wanted to watch your show this year but saw that it was cancelled, hope to see you soon!
I was raised going to North Myrtle Beach every summer and seeing you guys play the greatest music there is. I introduced my husband to your music 2 years ago and he was in love with the music and show just as I am. We are going to see ya'll in Venice Fl. this month at the Braves game. Love ya'll
What a great performance at the Pecan Festival. You guys really give 100% at making sure everyone has a good time while enjoying good clean music. The entire band was so personal with the crowd which shows how grateful you are to the Lord and how He has blessed your music. Thanks for a great afternoon.
I saw this mighty group on last Friday in Greenwood- WOW- great performance! I love the Tams and 14kt Gold. I go see them anytime they are around in the area- I went to see the original Tams when they would perform in Myrtle Beach years ago. I have pictures of the old group. The Tams are always personal and pleasurable to the audience. We loved them. I keep asking for one of their tams?? I hope they will be blessed with many more years of bringing Joy to others. Looking forward to seeing them again.
I love the Tams-they are a amazing group of entertainers. I had the privilege to dance with Little Red twice this year, once at the Spanish G. at North Myrtle Beach and just a few week ago at Emerald Isle beach music and I must say it was a honor. I am looking forward to the next time we get to see the Tams, hopefully it will be in November at the Spanish Galleon again and I get another chance to dance to dance with Little Red.
Where are The Tams playing Friday the 20th at North Myrtle Beach
Had a chance to see you gents perform tonight in Sapphire Valley, NC. Great show, tremendous energy. Lil Red, had a chance to see your daddy and the older guys many times in Athens during the late 70’s. Your daddy would be proud! Larry
I have love the Tams for so many years. I guess I got to see them when I lived in MB, SC years ago. I've know Greg Gallashaw for a whole lot of years. And, my former boyfriend, knew Joe quite well, back in the day. I remember many years ago when they were playing at the Long Branch that Joe called him up to sing with them. I was pretty mortified, but it ended up ok. When Greg took a sabbatical while living in Stone Mtn, my deceased boyfriend, Hammer, played with him several times around Atlanta. They are true classics....so happy to be born a Carolina girl!!!
My friend and I saw you all in Calhoun Ga at the Gem theatre a while back you all were GREAT would love to see you again, but we live in Rome, Ga wish you would come back to Calhoun or somewhere close to us
I reside in the Norfolk,Virginia Beach metro area of Virginia, but grew up in Charlotte listening to The Tams. Such great summer beach memories. Please come to my part of Virginia and bless us with your wonderful sound.
Read all about you guys and cannot wait to see you perform tonight at Glover Park in Marietta, GA !!
I want to write you to personally thank you for AN AMAZING SHOW last night at Spring Island. I cannot tell you how much everyone enjoyed themselves. Professionalism to the max!!! You all are the REAL DEAL! Music, vocals, song choices, dancing, and outfits were over the top. Just so good and most of all, you make it so much fun! Thank you!!! Mimi & Tommy
I had the pleasure of seeing/hearing The Tams in Lexington SC on May 2. Little Redd, his son and the rest of the band were extremely kind to three young fans. These young men were invited onto the stage to sing and dance along. I have been a fan for over 50 years and am looking forward to the Greensboro NC show this Thursday. Tish Crumpler
Been a True Fan for over 45 Years. Saturday Night at Galleon was excellent show. Little Red has truly developed that Joe Growl, and Charles humbleness and showmanship. Little Tams were awesome surprise, reminds me of seeing Red when he was little. Good job Dianne. As Charles would say, The Tams will never die! Also played many of Joe's and Charles Hits. Good Job!
I can't wait to have The Mighty Tams perform again in Richmond Hill. Everyone's excited to hear they're coming back. See you June 29th at J F Gregory park in Richmond Hill, Ga. If you have never seen them perform you're missing out!!!
Thank you for coming to Stedman as part of our Party in the Park. It was a great show especially when Lil Redd's son Malik was playing the drums while dancing. Hope you come back soon.
Thanks for coming back to Stedman, NC. As always, you put on a great sow and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Little Red, your son and nephew are adorable. I loved the big grin, your son had, while he was playing the drums. It was great to see such talented kids too.
Always love the show! Love the music as well!
Saw your show at Blue Ridge Fest, Pickens, SC, last night. Loved your energy, interaction with the audience, and your high-aerobic-expenditure choreography. I regret you did not sing more of your regional hits from the '60s ("Untie Me," "You Lied to Your Daddy," "Laugh It Off," etc. Wish you many more years of carrying on the family tradition of working, entertaining, travelling, thrilling your fans of three generations . A Tams fan for life.
